Welcome to Modern Fringe! My name is Emileigh, teacher gone macrame artist and creative! I started this knot-tying journey back in 2016 when I made my first wall hanging as a wedding gift for a good friend. The next year I made a wedding backdrop for my own wedding. Soon after, it became a passion for me and led me to think "Why can't I make being an artist a full-time gig?"

 

So here we are, thank you for sharing this space with me! I love making macrame pieces - if a piece makes your space a little more cozy, calm, warm or brings you just a little more joy, my goal is reached.
